SOP students recognized at APhA spring meeting

Maria Wopat, DPH-4, was honored with the American Pharmacists Association-Academy of Student Pharmacists (APhA-ASP)One-to-One Patient Counseling Recognition Award. Yushi Li, DPH-4, competed in the National Patient Counseling Competition on behalf of the school.

Region 4 Chapter awards were received for both the APhA-ASP Operation Immunization and Operation Diabetes projects. Accepting the awards on behalf of their colleagues included Lisa Hammel, DPH-3, and Heather Alexander, DPH-3, for the immunization project, and Adam Maguire, DPH-2, for the diabetes project, respectively. The annual spring meeting was held in mid-March in Washington, D.C.
