Warren Rose, assistant professor (CHS) in the Pharmacy Practice Division, was awarded the 2008-2009 New Investigators Program grant for pharmacy faculty from the American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy (AACP).
His proposal, “Impact of dendrimers on antibiotic activity in multi-drug resistant Staphylococcus aureus,” furthers his research in the treatment of Staphylococcus aureas infections, a common pathogen in community and hospital settings. The AACP faculty grant program serves the needs of new investigators by providing start-up funding for their research programs. The competitive program offered 15 awards of up to $10,000 each.
