MEDLINE is a large database with millions of references to articles published in current biomedical journals from the United States and more than eight foreign countries. Clinical Inquiries provide the ideal answers to clinical questions relevant to practicing physicians. Clinical Inquiries are comprehensive answers to practice-based questions derived from a systematic search of literature, selection and grading of the highest quality evidence, and construction of an answer to the question accompanied by an assessment of the strength of recommendation.
Clinical Inquiries authors must be FPIN members. All authors must be a Senior Author or work with a Senior Author at their institution.
The University of Wisconsin-Madison Department of Family Medicine was one of the founding members of FPIN, a nonprofit, international academic consortium.
