Graduates, you should be very proud! Despite a global pandemic that posed myriad challenges, you completed a rigorous academic program and persevered to achieve your degree. You are prepared to meet the healthcare challenges of our increasingly complex, global world.
As you graduate, you join a strong network of over 8,000 alumni who are exemplary practitioners, researchers, medical professionals, and leaders. You become a member of the Pharmacy Alumni Association, an organization for all graduates of the School of Pharmacy.
Keynote Speaker: Bruce E. Scott, MS, FASHP
Bruce Scott (BS ’79) is chair of the School of Pharmacy Board of Visitors and is a senior executive with an extensive and successful background in healthcare. He has served in the leadership of major organizations, including EnvisionPharmacies, Accredo Infusion Services, McKesson Medication Management, and Allina Hospitals & Clinics. Scott has served as a past president of the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP) and is a recipient of ASHP’s Harvey A.K. Whitney Lecture Award, health-system pharmacy’s highest honor. He draws on his experiences in improving healthcare delivery and in leadership development and pharmacy administration for his message to the Class of 2020.

The graduate programs at the University of Wisconsin–Madison School of Pharmacy prepare top-flight scientists and researchers to address scientific, social, and administrative challenges in healthcare.
