Assistant Dean, Assessment and Academic Planning

Beth Janetski, MFA, PhD

  • Oversees all assessment activities, accreditation data gathering, and analysis
  • Acts as the academic planner for undergraduate, professional, and graduate education within the School of Pharmacy
  • Develops/refines/evaluates assessment measures and effective and efficient processes for collecting, interpreting and utilizing student learning outcome data
  • Coordinates learner assessment and program evaluation, including accreditation, as well as fostering a culture of evidence in support of learning and quality improvement

Assistant Dean, Experiential Education

  • Coordination and administration of PharmD Introductory and Advanced Pharmacy Practice Experiences (IPPE/APPE)

Assistant Dean, Recruitment and Admissions

Jeremy Altschafl, MA

  • Coordinates and manages the Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) and Pharmacology and Toxicology (PharmTox) programs admissions process from recruitment to matriculation
  • Serves as the primary liaison regarding admissions to campus units and the AACP
  • Co-chairs the faculty Admissions Committee
  • Collaborates with relevant committees (Admissions, Assessment, Curriculum, Student Promotion, and Scholarships) to monitor how admissions criteria relate to student success and matriculation
