Sorkness recognized for her biomedical literature

Christine Sorkness, clinical professor in the Pharmacy Practice Division, was awarded the 2011 ASHP Foundation Literature Award for Sustained Contributions.

The Award for Sustained Contributions is made to an individual who has a track record for publishing relevant articles of consistently high quality and impact in the primary, peer-reviewed, biomedical literature over a minimum of 10 years. Sorkness will receive an honorarium, and expense allowance to attend the ASHP Midyear Clinical Meeting in New Orleans, La. where she will be formally recognized.

The ASHP Foundation Literature Awards program annually recognizes original, significant contributions to biomedical literature by pharmacists.
