Pharmacology-Toxicology senior (’15) Matthew Wleklinski of Howards Grove, Wisconsin, has accepted admission to the physician-scientist (MD/PhD) program at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, where he hopes to continue a research career focused on stem cell and regenerative medicine.
PharmTox graduates have gained admission to prestigious MD/PhD programs in three of the last four years. Bernie Mulvey ’13 is a MD/PhD student at Washington University in St. Louis; Alex Gooding ’12 is a MD/PhD student at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland.
