Alex Koo, a junior pharmacology-toxicology major from Las Vegas, Nevada, has been accepted as one of six UW-Madison undergraduates to participate in SCORE (Summer Cambridge and Oxford Research Experience) for the summer of 2016. Participating students will spend the summer in a laboratory in Oxford or Cambridge in England, investigating fundamental problems in biochemistry and molecular biology. Students will conduct full-time research under the direction of a faculty member and work as part of a laboratory research team.
